What is the relationship between humans and their home when that home is disappearing? The arctic archipelago of Svalbard is a place of constant change; a frozen landscape steadily unfreezing, home to a small community that is rapidly changing from an isolated mining town to a global tourism hub. Each year, people come and go and personal relationships are upended. A film about life in transformation, and about holding on to what used to be.
